Dear Chris, You know, there was a scene or two there that just seemed so familiar. I think I was having a conversation with a couple friends of mine, I forget who, and a similar topic came up. And it was still funny  The whole thing was good, although I was wondering - when it ended the way it did over Cartier's, is it "The End" or "To be Continued?" When I first started Cat-Tales I almost always
thought each fic (and at the very beginning each chapter)
was the end. It was only around FUN & GAMES or PLAN 9
FROM THE DEMON'S HEAD I realized, this was a 'verse with
a mind of it's own and there would always be more stories
to tell.
So it's TBC both in the sense that there's a chapter 2 on the way and loads more after that** **this is the first tantalizing hint of BIG BIG NEWS on the way for fans of Cat-Tales. |

I'm really liking where the whole series is going.
I've been reading for quite some time and it keeps
getting better everyday. This story was really good and
of course I liked it. Anyway I was curious about that
paragraph about Robin and Batgirl having fun catching
criminals and becoming good friends. Is there anything
that could happen between the two young bat-teens?
Just curious of course.  Keep up the
good work as always!

See, it's stories like this that are why I enjoy
Cattails more than the actual DC comics now. Selina here
can stop an outbreak of "who's the bigger
p-i-t-a" between Dick & Bruce. Or, at
least, I hope she can!

And Ken, From your mouth to God's ear! I actually have no objection if the guy goes on living, if only we could stop him writing that stupid, confused, coarse and unattractive creature of his under the Catwoman masthead. Actually, contrary to appearances, I didn't say just to be vicious. That little dig is actually a stunt to plug the Interview and Commentary on Edward Albee about to start in the writer's forum, some of which I expect to touch on my view of Brubaker. I'd also like to mention to readers of this forum that there is a similar discussion of Aaron Sorkin in that forum, which I also want to draw attention to because - how can I say this - the man sparks discussion of ideas in ways I find very pleasing to those alive above the neck. |

Girl, I just love your Cat-tales! I started to read
in the Fanfiction.net and it captured my heart. And I
have to tell you. You should be psycologist. You realy
understands the minds of the psycothics of Gothan and
that is what I most like in Cat-tales. And Selina of
course! Oh! That's all a lie! I love every aspect of
Cat-Tales. Keep on writting, I'm dying to read the next
chapter of "What's new Pussy
Cat?"

Nice use of the Nocturna character, and I had to laugh at PotatoMan. Thief of the Night? More like French Fries au gratin by moonlight -- 'cause, man, is his rig cheesy! And of course there was the Gamma Quadrant  and
Asterisk-8!  The
question is, who will be left in Gotham to end up on opposite sides of the de

Oh, Chris, this is priceless; one of those times that one would like to be a fly on the wall in the Iceberg -- except that you'd have to be a swarm and be able to multi-task in order to follow all that was going on! Poor Selina... so many quarrellers and/or spectators, and all of them wanting to pump her or earbash her. At once. What's a woman to do? Unfortunately, Bruce is liable to object to the knock-'em-out-stuff-'em-in-a-packing-crate-and-send-'em-parcel-post-to-Cape-Town solution -- shame, really. I do hope she and Bruce ('cause I like them as a team) are able to cope with all this. Who knows? Maybe Dick will side with Bruce rather than JP -- although where Tim will stand remains to be seen... and we haven't heard from Steph lately... This is great, Chris, but I'd make one plea: don't let it drag on too long. One secret of good comedy is knowing when to stop -- and knowing when not to, of course. In any case, I look forward to seeing what comes next. ----

I apologize for being so behind in my reading. I
just finished reading "What's New
Pussycat" -- Chapter 3 and found it most
amusing. I especially loved the ending with all the
different messages on Selina's answering
machine.
Seeing the villians reacting to unusual but everday type occurrances is a lot of of fun. Some newcomers come into the Iceberg Lounge and upset the apple cart in the bar. I dunno, I keep reading Chris' stuff and Michael's new entrant with the JLAers -- it gets my mind going. I'm thinking very seriously of my own little universe thing. Going to have to do some more research. We'll see. B |
