The useful part of my response: Why hasn't Ra's gotten rid of Ulstarn yet? If he's that annoying, and no longer effectively punishing lax soldiers (who keep getting tossed out of the city), I can't see where he serves any purpose. Send 'im to Talia. Let her be aggravated for a while, the ungrateful child. Surely one or the other will be cured of their defect? Jarissa

It's happened. Took a little longer than expected,
but it's happened.
Ra's is coming to Gotham, and he's looing for the rogues. Now, he underlines the succesful ones, and well, he's not gonna find many, but if he wants the ones out of Arkham, then at least Joker wont be there to notice. (Neatly dodging my 'King of the Rogues' fight, dont think I didnt notice) But, it has happened. Ras is coming to Gotham and he's recruiting supervillains. Bats sees that he's gonna blow a gasket. PsychoBat will be a kindness. It's gonna be battle royale once Batman figures out how to stand up after his last fight. Is Ra's just looking for a new elite corps, 'cause it sounds like he is, but the Bat clan's gonna see this as Ra's calling them out. The one thing that Bats has going against ra's is that the people in question are insane. They'll never work together, and they'll all want to have the primary glory, and that's assuming that Ra's can get them all to work together. It's happened at last. Took longer than I expected, but Ra's has finally woken up to the fact that there's something about Gotham. Jarrisa, brilliant idea. Almost scary in fact, and If I've ever said anything to you that could result in you coming up with an Ulustarn/Talia type retribution against me...well...I apologize. So, I assume this means that Selina's moved in, since her new tennant has arrived. So what now? Harley goes and tells Red that 'that man from the games has gotten Selina's apartment', and Red goes nutto? Then Red goes and drowns her sorrows over Puddin at the Iceberg, says Hi to Sly and weeps into her drink about Puddin and Selina and How angry Red was because the guy who got the better of her was living in the apartment now... Jervis at the next table overhears this and Jervis tells many, many people, word gets around that Ivy got her butt kicked by a guy and the Rogues start sending him fruitbaskets. No! Not fruitbaskets! Meat! Nice helpings of Christmas meat! Wait. Heh. Hehehe. HAHAHAHAHA! Pardon the Jokerlaugh but I just had a crazy thought! If Ra's is looking for the only truly successful villains that have come against batman, then technically the only one that has always escaped, and never been thrown in Arkham is in fact Selina! Now, Ra's knows about this thing with the two of them, but I'd bet good money that Ulstarn doesnt have a clue! So he'd track her down and tell her that 'the most honourable Demon-Head' etc etc has asked for her help. She scoffs about the Hairdo recruiting her to Bruce, who goes thermal and starts planting listening devices in the top three flors of the Imperial Hotel, because that's where he stayed last time he was in Gotham and hillarity ensues. How close am I? |

The minute I saw ol' "Hammer and
Anvil"'s name, I about rolled out of my chair. I
wonder if he can recite all of Mace Windu's lines by
heart.

Ras ever take a 'Can't beat him, join him' philosophy? If
Ras takes pride in studing the great minds, would he ever
work WITH the detective and then accomplish his goals
using his method? I mean he has the time to wait out the

Hot Damn! I love being right! I'm done now. So anyway, how's Harv gonna react to the Ivy story? Last time he saw a Ivy story...well...lets just hope he get a new coffee machine, 'cause I dont think etrigan would take well to being chained up ala Nightwing. Know what I mean? And as he reels from this story, he gets invitede into the service of the demonhead. I wonder how the coin'll come up there. I'm guessing Bruce has a new after-defeat ritual. And on a personal note, speaking as someone who owns a cat, I dont think it's crazy apologising to one. My cat is unusual in that she makes eye-contact. It's clear when she's just watching, and when she's hungry, etc, just from looks. I've apologised many times. Not so much in words, not usually anyway, but I do make amends. For example: Accidentally step on her tail=give her a nice piece of fish instead of the usual dry food. Shoo her off a chair when she's curled up happily=give her a lap to sit on, and a nice scratch behind the ear. Call it crazy, but I prefer to think of it as setting a pattern. The cat knows that you do these thjings, and you tend to bleed a lot less. Any questions? Well yes, I have a question: Who's going to approach these likely candidates, how's Ra's gonna react when he sees Selina's name on the list... No. To make it good, he wont see the list, he'd just ask for the number and have Ulstarn make it happen. Makes it so much more entertaining. My key question: Who was the third name? We've got Catty, 2face and...who? Eagerly awaiting the next chapter. |
