Posts: 14 07/16/09 10:05	Tags : None Attention iPhone, Kindle, e-readers and other mobile people! Some of you have made contact in the past asking for compilations and downloads in specific formats. It takes me a while, but I do get there eventually. If you visit the website, you will find a button on the bottom menu to a phone-friendly index to the main Cat-Tales stories. On that index, and on the cover pages for individual stories for books 1 - 3, you will find downloads for Kindle .azw and .mobi files in addition to the pdfs. This is beta, so please report any problems in this thread. At this time, there are no full book compilations for download. If you would like to assist with the alpha test documents, PM me. Posts: 1 07/23/09 18:32	I have the Kindle app on my iPod Touch, but I can't use it to access any site to download from other than Amazon itself. In addition, I can't find an app which will allow me to download the .mobi file from your site. Do you have any suggestions?

Posts: 792 07/23/09 20:02	As I understand it, there are two methods of getting documents into your Kindle. There is an email address you have as a user, and a USB port. Since the Cat-Tales files are already converted, you would download to your computer and transfer it with the USB as outlined inthis nifty How-To from TechnoPages. What's nice about this is once you are comfortable loading in your own documents, you can take advantage of the free version of Amazon's conversion service for other things, rather than paying 15-cents per upload. That whole process, using the email address for either paid or free conversion, is on their FAQ on the Amazon website. I hope this helps. My own knowledge of all this is extremely limited, so I am relying on all of you to tell me what actually works and what just looks good on paper but in practice, pfft. EDIT: I just saw that it's a Kindle app on an iPod. Eek, I really don't know. I know there's an iPhone Kindle app, but that has the iPhone's internet browser attached.
