I was busy building our stuff and had little time to seriously play the real game before Christmas, so I was quite happy to see in IGN that there is another round, at least, gearing up in the real one. I went to www.ibelieveinharveydent.com and gave it an email address and phone number. Then I had to confirm the email address, something we are all used to. The very next mail to come in was from Smiley Central, subject line "Smileys are Fun and Free."
Y'know, with Joker involved, I couldn't rule out the possibility that that was part of the game. So I resigned up with another email address, just to check. That one confirmed - no smiley spam. The first one really was completely unrelated spam, just a coincidence.
That's Zenishly wonderful to me.
It's also the way you have to think if you're going to go around playing ARGs and expect to find anything (but that's another post for another day).
