Well, we actually had two plots running side-by-side of equal intensity.
The opening K-laser hallucination was kind of strange in an unexpected way. It was almost as if you had slipped into writing Smallville fanfiction given the odd idea of Clark, Bruce, Lois and Selina all being in High School together. It is an odd idea but worked well as a typically weird dream.
Well, I have to say that I am very interested to see where the Bart/Harley plot is going.
This was a particularly thought-provoking bit of writing. You are very good at 'getting in their heads' and you do Ivy at least as well as Selina or Bruce.
Onto the main plot: Well, that was an unexpected wrinkle.
I did love the end. Selina still has a lot of the Rogue in her and doing something naughty, especially if Bruce told her to do so is clearly the source of a great rush for her. Despite the SNAFU at the bank (which seems to have been an anticipated outcome from events in this chapter), it seems that Bruce's plans are right on track. No doubt we will see events transpire further in future chapters.
No Cassie! Well, I imagine that she is still trying to look inconspicious in Hello Kitty pink and talk her way out of the museum (a particular challenge for her
).
I wonder if Thundering Monkey is planning to show us Selina in her bat necklace. I will ignore the possible psychological message from her wearing wat could be considered to symbolise a collar made from Bruce's weapons.
