Welcome to the new Cat-Tales Community, once a small corner of Gotham After Dark. For newcomers finding us through Yuku, Welcome. The forums you see here, as well as the chatroom and wiki are all centered on the Cat-Tales series of fan fiction by Chris Dee, based on the simple principle that what you see in the comics is about as close to the truth about Batman, Catwoman and Gotham City as that story in the tabloids about giant hamsters from Neptune running the world from a condo is Newark. In addition to the original series, there are a number spinoffs: JLAin't about the Justice League, Wicked Verse starring Jason Blood and Etrigan, Two-Faced Tales starring everyone's favorite bifurcated baddie Harvey Dent, and an alternate universe introduced in String Theory called Reap What You Sow. You'll also find a growing fan art gallery on the website.
The Chats and Wiki are both new. We are going to try to schedule a live chat at the conclusion of each Cat-Tale, see the main page for the date and time. Work is just beginning on the Wiki, so if you're an avid CT reader, please do join and help us out.
Like any comic book fans, practicing or lapsed, we have a strong interest in words pictures, and the magic they can make together. Hence the Writers' and Artists' Colonies and their various challenges, as well as the Iceberg Lounge where we all hang out for off-topic chitchat and general silliness. Aficionados of classic Golden and Silver Age comics, as well as those wanting to learn, are welcome to the Gotham Post named for the aforementioned tabloid.
