Same sort of week here. I'll have what the gentleman on the floor is having.
That said, it's a first Sunday again! Defrag those harddrive, update or check autoupdates on virus checkers, spyware blockers, and firewalls. Make sure the scanners are running. And if they transport the nasties to a locked down virus vault, you may as well go ahead and purge its contents. They can't hurt you in there, but they're just taking up space. |

*grins* One nice thing about not having your computer hooked up to the Internet is that you don't have to worry about virus updates. No point.
Nuthin' you can do about it anyhow. Nevermind that Norton subscription that you paid for...woof.
But I do desperately need to back-up files. I think it's been over a year. Heh. I almost think it'd be cheaper to just buy a second harddrive. Sly, I'll have a...hmm...green tea with lemon and lots of sugar. My work has got me hooked on those. So awesome! Welcome to a world without rules! |

Hi everyone,
The board may have reorganized, but it's still the first Sunday of the month. Be sure to check all those little things your computers do "automatically" - check that virus checkers, spyware blockers, and firewalls that are supposed to auto update are in fact up to date. Check that scheduled scans are running. If infected files are moved to a virus vault, empty them out and free up some space. Empty browser caches. When you're all done, defrag the harddrive and do a file backup. Take care of your computers and they'll keep you connected.

Oh lordy, that's a real angel/devil dilemma. Green tea: antioxidants and even aids weight loss. So very very good for you.
Irish coffee on the other hand - mmmmmmm caffeine, alcohol, cream. But so very very good. Meooooooooooooow.

Just dropped in to share this little jewel from my mother. In the middle of a conversation about our six cats (anyone want a half-grown kitten?), she said, "I don't understand cats. I never tried to. All I know is, if a cat likes you, you've got something. If it doesn't, you might as well give up because it never will." And here's a question: Whatever happened to the caption contest? I can't seem to find it. Please don't tell me that it died! Cats rule.

Caption Contest wasn't getting any action, and Oracle had a rough few weeks so she suspended it. It can certainly return if there is interest. As for
"Things we'll never see" that's up to Thundering Monkey. I'm sure if we all bait the bear a little, or y'know, bait the monkey (ew,
bad visual, BAD!) we can lure him away from his mad poser experiments to whip up the occasional TWNS.
