Now that the Penguin has finally been taken down how does Bruce feel knowing it was made possible by Tim and Cassie screwing up? If they didn't accidently burn down the Iceberg, none of this would have been possible. After all burning down the Iceberg is what lead to Penguin going to Arkham and the Vault being opened in its place. On the one hand they screwed up and on the other they made taking down Penguin possible (even though it was an unexpected consequence). That's got to leave...

What a fun chapter! Oswald's encounter with something far scarier than any bat was simply hilarious. Run away! Run away!

I'm glad that Catwoman 'Queen of the Underworld' didn't get resolved this time around. It looks like a move that could provide so much entertainment as it plays out in various circles.

Hi gang, going to be brief as there's a lot going on this weekend, including a Penn State Game.

Matt Hagen. I just love him. Glad his small appearance here was well received. Certainly hoping to see more of him. Of course, his primary motivation besides revenge is relief from the monotony of clay. So Selina is a great companion for him, as she said, she is fun. But something problematic could certainly develop there over time. Not a certainty, just a possibility.

To add to that, because of their time in the alternate Keystone and because of their unique powers, the Twins aged differently in the Post, with Iris being about ten and Jai being eight. I thought that (amongst other things) was a bit of crap too. And to be honest, I can handle a little bit of dimension hopping and time travel now and then. But when it happens every single freaking issue, it's like come ON guys! When do they ever spend time in their own dimension/time period?

To answer questions about the West twins:

Linda's pregnancy over in the Post was complicated, in the sense of having a miscarriage caused by Professor Zoom and lots of angst and then a bit of time travel that made it so the miscarriage never happened. Then Wally and his family spent some time in a speed-force related alternate-dimension version of Keystone while Bart stepped up as the Flash. Then Bart died and Wally came back as a side effect of something the time-traveling...

I just have to echo the sentiment that Wally's slightly matured view makes complete sense and really helps fleshes out his character. Linda, on the other hand I've got mixed feelings about. Maybe because Lois has had a lot more screen time, but I can't help but think of Linda as "Lois w/kids". I do know they're different types of journalist, ie Linda's TV reporter and Lois is a writer, but there hasn't been anything for me to really hook into. That being...

Ever since Chris gave such a marvelous interpretation of Hagen, I've enjoyed seeing him pop his head into Cat-Tales. This chapter's no exception. It's not as if he said anything this time. It's just his mannerisms, the way he effortlessly assumed the smooth confidence of an A-lister without the need to launch himself into the limelight.

After all these years running an established business, it's clear that Ozzy hasn't forgotten how to start a new one....
